Prayer Circle

The Archdiocese of St. Louis has announced that all archdiocesan schools, elementary through high school, will close effective Wednesday, March 18 through Monday, April 6 to help prevent spread of the Coronavirus.

As reported in the St Louis Review, “The announcement was made as local leaders also announced a ban of public gatherings of more than 50 people in the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, and Madison and St. Clair counties in Illinois.

The archdiocese joined 25 school districts in St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis to announce closures jointly on March 15.”

The Office of Catholic Education and Formation has provided e-learning and homeschool resources to their faculty who will continue to support parents during this time of uncertainty.

For families who rely on schools for food, assistance will be made available through the local Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Catholic Charities of St. Louis.
