At St. Ignatius Loyola School, we believe that all persons are formed in the image and likeness of God. In order to live this truth, we have chosen to create an educational environment which will establish a firm foundation in the Catholic Faith, make possible excellence in learning, and provide the opportunity to grow in an active Christian community.

We believe that the uniqueness of our school structure, combined multi-grades in each room, allows new materials to be experienced along-side valuable review. Students receive ample individual attention due to small class size. We foster skills for effective learning, preparing one for a good High School education and beyond.

Please feel free to stop by for a visit or call our office (636-932-4444) to make an appointment. We look forward to seeing you.

Mission

The Mission of St. Ignatius of Loyola School is to provide a firm foundation in the Catholic faith and in learning excellence for elementary and preschool-age children in a safe environment and active community life.

Purpose

Students attend Mass twice a week, proclaiming the Word of God and praising Him in song. We pray a weekly Rosary for our school and parish and celebrate many special liturgies. Through our Virtues in Action program, students are involved in monthly projects that benefit the community and foster personal growth.

Quality

A strong and rigorous education is the hallmark of St. Ignatius Loyola School. In this, we emphasize exceptional command of reading, writing, mathematics, science, history, geography, and the Catholic faith. Our teachers use contemporary technology to its full advantage, along with the latest teaching methodologies.

Dynamic Community

We have a strong tradition of participation in the Archdiocesan Bellarmine Speech League, intramural volleyball and basketball programs and a growing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) curriculum. Special classes include music, art, technology and physical education.
